Nusa Putra University Repository Policies
These policies outline the operational standards, open access principles, submission criteria, copyright compliance, and long-term digital preservation protocols of the institutional repository.

Content Policy
- Accepted Materials: Journal articles, conference papers, theses (skripsi/tesis), dissertations, working papers, technical reports, book chapters, and research datasets.
- Affiliation Requirement: At least one author or contributor must be affiliated with Nusa Putra University.
- Full-Text Inclusion: Complete digital full-texts are required whenever legally permissible.

Submission & Deposit Policy
- Eligible Depositors: Faculty members, researchers, academic staff, and registered students of Nusa Putra University.
- Editorial Moderation: All deposits are reviewed by Library & Information Unit editors for bibliographic accuracy and formatting before live publication.
- Embargo Periods: Publisher-mandated embargo periods are respected and configured automatically in EPrints.

Open Access & Re-Use Policy
- Free Public Access: Unrestricted access is provided to the public for educational, research, and non-commercial scholarship.
- Attribution & Integrity: End users must acknowledge the original authors and cite the repository URL/DOI.
- Licensing: Works may be distributed under Creative Commons (CC) licenses as specified by the respective author.

Copyright & Permissions
- Author Retention: Authors retain full copyright ownership of their non-exclusive deposit unless assigned elsewhere.
- Publisher Agreements: Deposits comply with publisher copyright policies (verified against Sherpa Romeo).
- Notice and Takedown: Valid copyright infringement claims will result in immediate removal pending review.

Metadata Harvesting Policy
- Free Harvesting: Repository metadata may be harvested by any party for indexing (e.g., Google Scholar, RAMA, Garuda, OpenAIRE) without fee.

OAI-PMH v2.0 Standard: Harvesting is supported via
/cgi/oai2in Dublin Core and RDF formats.

Preservation & Retention
- Permanent Retention: Items deposited into the repository will be retained indefinitely with persistent identifiers (URI/ID).
- Backup & Redundancy: Regular automated offsite and onsite backups are performed to safeguard digital assets.
