Abstract

Bank OCBC data center construction project has been delayed. From surveys and visits conducted at Bank OCBC data center construction project located on Jalan BSD South Tangerang City, there were delays caused by several factors in the field, resulting in delays reaching 61 days. This study aims to determine the causal factors and probabilities of delay, the most dominant risks and determine the appropriate mitigation measures. The fault tree analysis (FTA) method is used to determine the factors causing delay and the probability of delay from the identified risk results. The failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) method is used to identify components, systems or processes experiencing failures and evaluate potential failures and determine dominant risks that can have a significant impact on delay. The results of risk analysis using the fault tree analysis (FTA) method obtained 19 basic events and obtained 2 main factors that caused delays, namely the design drawing process changed with a minimum cutset probability of 0.683 and material procurement was hampered with a minimum cutset probability of 0.647. The results of data processing using the failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) method obtained 3 risks in the high risk category, namely working drawings and in the field in contrast to RPN 859, imported materials with RPN 636 and the duration of delivery of old materials with RPN 593. Based on the results of observations and discussions that have been carried out together with project managers (PM), consultants and field foremen, a sequence of risks and mitigation steps is obtained in the form of recommendations for improvements to high risk categories.
