Abstract
Electrical energy is the energy most needed by residents in Indonesia. Current electricity needs still depend on fossil fuels. If the electricity supply in this country still depends on fossil fuels, it is possible that this country will experience a crisis of new renewable energy (EBT). Environmentally friendly, does not cause air pollution. In this research, a design and cost analysis of rooftop solar panels for the energy-independent assembly tal'im building will be made using pvsyst simulation. This design is carried out by analyzing and processing weekly electricity demand data, analyzing the potential of solar energy in the Cicantayan sub-district, calculating simulation inputs which include the need for solar panels, the need for inventors, and the need for batteries. Then carry out a simulation of the design of a rooftop solar panel with the PVSyst software. The results of the calculation of the PLTS project data analysis show that the first year starts up to 25 years because polycrystalline PV has a durability of 25 years, the cost results show the purchase of stand alone PV system items. Purchases in the initial year are shown at -2,696,550. In the 10th and 20th years, batteries are purchased because the battery life has run out. From the analysis of life cycle costs (life cycle costs) to get a profit of 209,907 for 25 years there is a profit that is increasing from year to year. And in 25 there is residual profit in the final year. Due to the results obtained from the NPV Rp -888,882,00 and the IRR value of Rp 6.77% which is less than the reference interest rate, it can be concluded that this project does not meet the financial requirements to be implemented.
