Abstract

Feeding catfish needs to use an automation system that can be controlled based on environmental conditions, because fish are a class of vertebrates that join together as ectothermic animals, meaning that body temperature changes depending on the temperature of the environment, this affects the eating behavior of fish. therefore a Monitoring and Automation System Design for Feeders Using Fuzzy Logic in IoT-Based Catfish Farming and Mobile Apps was created. This study uses the prototype system development method and Sugeno fuzzy logic. Sugeno fuzzy logic is made to create rules that are applied to the system created. The design of the system created produces a system that can regulate the feeding of catfish automatically based on air temperature parameters, from the results of testing the matlab application obtained quite high accuracy. From several functionality tests on the components on the servo motor, the average value is 20 grams per rotation of the five tests, on the DS18B20 temperature sensor the average difference is 0.45 oC with an error proportion of 1.8%, ultrasonic sensor testing Comparison of measurements with a ruler was carried out, obtained an average difference of 0.1 cm with an error proportion of 1.36% from five trials. The infrared sensor succeeded in giving a push notification when there was 0.5 kg of feed left in the container. The RTC test obtained a time difference compared to the online clock, and obtained a time difference of 5 seconds on the morning schedule, 5 seconds on the afternoon schedule and 5 seconds on the afternoon schedule in five trials. The usability test was filled in by 60 respondents, from the percentage of each question the average percentage of the five questions given was 91.73%, this proportion is in the criteria of strongly agree according to the likert scale.
