Abstract
This research focuses on the creation of a Geographic Information System (GIS) to map Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Sukabumi City, Indonesia. This city recognizes MSMEs as a significant economic force, but limitations in promotion and information dissemination often hinder their expansion. To address this, the study advocates for a web-based GIS to increase these enterprises' visibility and accessibility. GIS technology facilitates access to location and business type information about MSMEs online, encouraging involvement from the government, investors, and the public. In its development process, the system employs the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which includes requirements planning, user design, construction, and the final stage of cutover. In requirements planning, a comprehensive analysis is conducted to understand the users' needs in the system to be built. User design composes the initial system design, construction implements the system that has been analyzed and designed, while the cutover stage is the final stage where system testing is conducted. The system utilizes Single SPA architecture and Progressive Web Apps (PWA) to ensure robust performance across various devices. The Sukabumi MSME map is effectively presented through the Mapbox library. The system has undergone rigorous testing and produced impressive results. Functional black box testing confirmed full functionality, while lighthouse testing awarded the system a high score above 90. Based on a questionnaire, usability testing found that 89% of respondents agreed with the system's creation. Further, the validity test achieved good results, surpassing the table value with 65 respondents scoring above 0.244. Reliability testing yielded a strong score of 0.952, demonstrating the system's robustness and reliability.
