RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS PEMETAAN LOKASI TEMPAT PEMBUANGAN SAMPAH LEGAL DI SUKABUMI

Waste is one of the environmental issues that requires proper and efficient management. An important aspect of waste management is mapping the locations of legal and authorized waste disposal sites. Illegal dumpsites or misuse of waste disposal areas are urgent issues in efforts to maintain cleanliness and environmental health in Sukabumi. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a Geographic Information System (GIS) that can map the locations of legal waste disposal sites in the Sukabumi area. The research follows the waterfall system development method, involving steps such as requirement analysis, system design, data collection, system implementation, and testing. Using GIS to map the locations of waste disposal sites allows users to view, search, and access online information about legal waste disposal locations in Sukabumi. The system utilizes the Mapbox library for location mapping, enabling users to view, search, display routes, and visualize location data interactively. To ensure that all system features function properly, Black Box testing was conducted, and responsive testing on the website was performed to ensure optimal display on various devices and screen sizes. The results of the Black Box testing confirmed that all website features work properly, and the responsive testing showed that the generated display is responsive on various devices and screen sizes. The system developed in this study can make a significant contribution to waste management in Sukabumi.
