Article 21 Income Tax (PPh 21) is a tax imposed on income in the form of salaries, wages, honoraria, benefits and other payments received by employees, non-employees, former employees, retirees and others. The problem that occurs is that at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry the tax calculation process is done manually using Microsoft Access and can cause errors in the calculation and takes quite a long time due to the large amount of data. That way, the PPH 21 application design is an application developed to assist the process of calculating and paying PPH 21 for employees and companies.
This application will simplify the process of calculating PPH 21 by using formulas and rates in accordance with applicable regulations. The main features of this application include calculating PPH 21 automatically, generating PPH 21 reports. This application can be used by companies and employees to simplify the PPH 21 calculation and payment process. With this application it is hoped that it can reduce PPH 21 calculation errors and simplify the payment process application development researchers use the extreme programming method so that the development process can be faster and produce good applications.
