Abstract
The selection of new employees plays a crucial role in a company's quest to find suitable individuals to fill necessary positions. Unfortunately, several companies have yet to conduct this selection process in a professional manner. This issue arises due to the lack of a systematic method for evaluating the suitability of prospective employees. To address this challenge, a decision support system for selecting prospective employees has been developed using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This method was chosen because it allows for the determination of weight values for each attribute, followed by ranking to identify the best alternative among a pool of candidates based on predefined criteria. Through conducted testing, the developed system facilitates and expedites the process of selecting new employees, providing support to the HRD division in making informed decisions regarding the suitable candidates for employment within the company.
