Abstract
This research was motivated by the low scores of students in science learning in class V of the Sukamanah Group at the KKM 75 level. One way that can be used is to use the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning approach assisted by Realia media. The approach to this research method is quantitative by using a type of Quasi Experiment conducted in two classes, namely one experimental class and one control class. The population of this study was class V SD Gugus Sukamanah, totaling 314 students. The samples used were SDN Kuta, totaling 36 students as the experimental class and SDN 2 Selajambe, totaling 24 students as the control class, using the random sampling technique. Data collection techniques carried out are observation, documentation, tests and scales. The results showed that there were influences and differences in using the CTL learning approach assisted by Relia media, while the results of data analysis were Validity Test, Reliability Test 0.895, Normality Test 0.334, Homogeneity Test 0.803, Paired Sample T-Test Pair 1 Test 0.000, Pair 2 of 0.002 and Independent Sample T-Test 0.031.
