PERANCANGAN BUKU POP-UP WAYANG SUKURAGA DALAM MENINGKATKAN NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER SISWA KELAS 1 SDN 03 CIDADAP

This final project is entitled Designing a Pop-Up Book of Puppet Sukuraga in Improving Character Education Values for Grade 1 Students of SDN 03 Cidadap. The purpose of the preparation of this final project is to improve the character education values of grade 1 students at SDN 03 Cidadap. In improving these values, the author took the initiative to use a pop-up book with the object of Puppet Sukuraga art as a medium to provide character values to grade 1 students. Puppet art Sukuraga was chosen as the object in the preparation of this Final Project because it is an art that is one of the prides of Sukabumi, which is not only known locally but internationally. Therefore, in order to realize this, a design was made that went through the stages of the production process including pre-production through idea search, script writing, character creation, and storyboarding. The design of this pop-up book went through 2 stages, namely making the design and making the book. Designing begins with sketching the character of the Sukuraga puppet, then converting the sketch into digital form, which is followed by digitizing the cover and contents of the book and converting the file into png form for printing. As for making pop-up books, it is done by 2 techniques, namely cutting and presentation techniques.
