Abstract
This study aims to determine the fair price of shares in technology sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the first quarter through the third quarter of 2022 to help reduce risk when investing. By using stock price valuation analysis, it can be seen whether the stock is overvalued, Undervalued, or in fair condition. This study uses a fundamental approach with the methods used, namely the Dividend Discount Model (DDM), Price Earning Ratio (PER), and Price Book to Value (PBV). This study used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, with a total sample size of 7 samples from 39 populations using a purposive sampling technique. The application of the Dividend Discount Model (DDM) method to technology sector companies in analyzing stock valuations showed results in the first quarter that 1 company experienced undervaluation and 6 companies experienced overvaluation. In the second quarter, 5 companies experienced undervaluation and 2 companies experienced fairness. Meanwhile, in the third quarter, six companies experienced undervaluation and one experienced fairness. The application of the Price Earning Ratio (PER) method to technology sector companies in analyzing stock valuations showed results in the first quarter that 1 company experienced fair value and 6 other companies experienced Undervalue. And in the second quarter, there were 2 companies experiencing fair value and 5 other companies experiencing Undervalue. Whereas in the third quarter it showed the same results as in the first quarter, namely that 1 company experienced fairness and 6 other companies experienced undervaluation. The application of the Price Book to Value (PBV) method to technology sector companies in analyzing stock valuations shows the result that all quarters from the first quarter to the third quarter experience overvaluation, or a value of more than 1.
