Abstract
This research is research related to marketing. The discussion is devoted to the theme of salesthat occur in the food and beverage sub-sector. It is known that the food and beverage sub- sector in Indonesia is currently facing a problem, namely many companies have started pioneering in the food and beverage industry, which has resulted in various challenges suchas increasing competitiveness so that companies need to increase product promotion so that consumers are interested in the products being sold.
The data collected comes from financial data from 14 food and beverage companies that havegone public as well as other financial supporting data for 7 years. The method used is descriptive statistics using eviews 12 software. The research was conducted from March to August 2023.
The results of the study show several important things that the company’s promotion costs and distribution costs can have an influence on the company’s sales conditions, which means that if promotion costs increase, sales will increase and vice versa.
