Abstract

Helicopter flights require feasibility evaluation to ensure aspects of safety, comfort, and operational efficiency. This research aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) based on the Fuzzy Mamdani method to assess the feasibility of helicopter flights in a more accurate and structured manner. The Fuzzy Mamdani method was chosen because of its ability to handle data uncertainty and provide results that are close to human logic in decision making. The system is designed to process various important variables, such as weather conditions, helicopter technical performance, pilot experience level, and other external factors, resulting in relevant and reliable recommendations. So that decision-making related to flight feasibility can be done quickly, accurately, and easily accessible at any time. In addition, this system is expected to improve flight safety, optimize operational efficiency, and reduce potential errors due to the manual evaluation process. Data collection is done through literature studies to ensure the parameters used are in accordance with aviation standards. The system design process uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to design the workflow and software structure, and is developed with the Laravel framework to ensure efficient data management and a responsive user interface.
