PENERAPAN METODE FIFO DAN FEFO DALAM MANAJEMEN OBAT PADA SISTEM INFORMASI KLINIK APOTEK NUSA PUTRA FARMEDIKA

Drug stock management is a vital element in maintaining the continuity of services in pharmacies and clinics. Inaccuracies in stock management risk causing financial losses to patients due to the use of expired drugs. The Nusa Putra Farmedika Pharmacy Clinic still relies on a manual recording system, which is prone to errors and inefficient in the distribution process. This research aims to develop a web-based drug stock management information system with the integration of FIFO (First In First Out) and FEFO (First Expired First Out) methods, as well as supporting real-time stock analysis features. The approach used is the Research and Development (R&D) method, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation studies, and literature reviews. In addition, database migration from MySQL to PostgreSQL was also carried out to improve data performance and integrity. The results of the implementation show that the developed system is able to improve the efficiency of stock recording, provide notifications of drugs approaching the expiration date, and present data visualization that supports decision-making. This system has been proven to have a positive impact on the effectiveness of stock management in the pharmacy environment, and is recommended as a digital solution in improving the quality of pharmaceutical services that are more adaptive and accountable.
