SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PEREKRUTAN KARYAWAN BERBASIS WEB MENGGUNAKAN METODE PROFILE MATCHING DI PT BENTANG JOHAR AWAL

A Decision Support System (DSS) is an interactive system that provides easy access to data and analytical models to assist management in the decision-making process. This system is designed to generate specific information needed to solve particular problems. Employee recruitment is a process undertaken by companies to search for, attract, and select individuals who meet certain qualifications to fill vacant positions. The objective of this process is to ensure that the organization acquires a workforce that aligns with its needs. The Profile matching method is a technique used within decision support systems to compare individual competencies against predefined criteria or standards. Based on research findings, the implementation of the Profile matching method has proven to be effective in supporting the employee selection process by assessing the compatibility between candidate profiles and job criteria, including aspects such as education, work experience, and technical skills. The calculation process involves determining the gap between the candidate's profile and the ideal standard, which is then converted into a weighted score and summed to obtain a final score. Candidates with the highest scores are considered to best meet the required qualifications. The use of this method yields more measurable and systematic results, thereby enhancing the accuracy of decision-making in the recruitment process.
