PERANCANGAN BUKU ILUSTRASI POP-UP INTERAKTIF “SERBA-SERBI DAPUR EMAK” SEBAGAI MEDIA PENGENALAN ALAT-ALAT DAPUR TRADISIONAL SUNDA UNTUK ANAK

Along with advances in science and technology, traditional kitchen utensils made from wood and bamboo are starting to be abandoned and replaced by modern kitchen utensils. Nowadays, children rarely know about traditional Sundanese kitchen utensils. Especially children from one of the cities in West Java, namely Sukabumi City. To overcome this problem, media is needed to help children learn about their own culture, namely traditional Sundanese kitchen utensils. This research focuses on designing media that is easy and fun for children with the aim
of increasing children's knowledge of traditional Sundanese kitchen tools in terms of visuals, names and uses. This research was prepared using qualitative and quantitative research methods, including interviews, observations, questionnaires and literature studies, to gain an in- depth understanding of the target audience and traditional Sundanese kitchen tools. The final result of the design is an interactive pop up book that focuses on illustrations using pop up and interactive techniques in the form of illustrations of traditional Sundanese kitchen tools, in order to attract the attention of the target audience. It is hoped that this design can increase children's knowledge about traditional Sundanese kitchen tools in a fun way and foster love for their own culture.
