Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) digital payment method on consumer purchasing decisions using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach. Three independent variables are used in this study, namely perceived usefulness, attitude toward use, and intention to use, as well as one dependent variable, namely purchase decision. The research method applied is quantitative with a survey approach, and data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire involving 400 respondents in Sukabumi City. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method through the SmartPLS application. The results show that all independent variables have a significant effect on purchase decisions. The intention to use QRIS is the most dominant factor influencing purchasing decisions, followed by attitude toward use and perceived usefulness. The R-Square value of 0.858 indicates that the research model has a strong explanatory power for the purchase decision variable. This research contributes to strengthening the understanding of digital payment technology adoption among consumers. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights for digital payment system developers, business actors, and future researchers in formulating more effective strategies to increase the adoption of QRIS in society.
