PENGARUH MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN FOTOBIOREAKTOR TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP FOTOSINTESIS PADA SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

This study aims to determine the effect of photobioreactor learning media on elementary school students' understanding of photosynthesis concepts. This study uses a quantitative approach with a true experiment conducted on a control class and an experimental class. The study population consists of fourth-grade students from Gugus Gadis Elementary School in Cisaat District, with the sample comprising 38 students from Cibatu 01 State Elementary School as the experimental class and 42 students from Padaasih State Elementary School as the control class. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The instruments used were observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and test sheets with 20 questions. The data analysis techniques used were validity testing, reliability testing, descriptive statistical analysis, homogeneity testing, normality testing, hypothesis testing, and N-Gain testing using SPSS version 23. Based on the results of the N-Gain score test, the average N-Gain score for the experimental class was 61.3856 or 61.3%, which falls into the moderately effective category. Meanwhile, the average N-Gain score for the control class was 51.4770 or 51.4%, which falls into the less effective category. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an effect of photobioreactor learning media on the understanding of photosynthesis concepts among fourth-grade elementary school students.
