Abstract
Pavement evaluation with seismic method as a measurement technique that is still less well known because it is still relatively new to be introduced in the world of civil engineering including non-destructive testing with the SASW method must be compared DCP correlated to obtain the bearing capacity of the base soil in CBR and empirical prediction of the modulus of elasticity at the PCI research location. The results of this study indicate that road pavement according to PCI produces a level of variability and modulus of elasticity of soft soil with a value of (271.3) which needs to be increased in its stiffness, the SASW method shows non-uniform stiffness has a factor of geographical conditions of the road, soil that is too soft that does not meet standards, no drainage on the road, asphalt conditions that are not of good quality or do not meet standards and surface repairs must be carried out such as overlays, thin asphalt, micro surfacing, cleaning of drainage channels that do not cause puddles, then periodic maintenance is carried out by strengthening the road structure, strengthening weak base soil to adding foundation layers and controlling traffic loads. It is recommended to carry out preventive maintenance and collaboration between the government, contractors, and the community by involving all parties, it is hoped that a solution can be obtained. optimal for road maintenance problems in single lane.
