Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in shaping an individual's character and personality. The Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) is a nonformal educational institution focused on Islamic education and plays a vital role in instilling Islamic values. MDTA Hikmatul Mubtadiin, as a newly established institution, faces challenges in attracting enrollees, largely due to negative perceptions and a lack of trust in its limited physical facilities. This study aims to redesign the visual brand identity of MDTA Hikmatul Mubtadiin, hoping to enhance the positive perception and public trust in the quality of education provided. A qualitative research approach was chosen, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, questionnaire and documentation. The gathered data were analyzed using the 5W1H and SWOT methods, which then formed the basis of the design concept. The outcome of this design is expected to not only improve the image of MDTA Hikmatul Mubtadiin but also make a significant contribution to the development of nonformal educational institutions in the aspect of visual brand identity, which is crucial in today's era of information and visual communication.
