ANALISIS PENYEBAB KEBOCORAN STEAM PADA FLANGE MENGGUNAKAN METODE FISHBONE DAN IMPLEMENTASI PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE UNTUK MENJAGA KINERJA SISTEM DISTRIBUSI STEAM

In the process of distributing steam from the boiler to the production through pipes, the pipes have several pipe flange connections that connect from one pipe to another, but leakage problems often occur in flange connections. This study aims to be able to analyze the causes of leaks, prevent and repair steam leaks in the flange section which can affect the process during food and non-food processing at PT, Indolakto C2. The analytical method used is the fishbone method with the initial stages namely literature study and data collection, inspection of the flange on the steam line, analysis of the fishbone method, prevention of leaks in the flange area and checking the results of preventive maintenance. The results of the analysis of the fishbone method are that there are 5 factors that cause steam leaks at the flange, humans, machines, materials, methods, and the environment, in the process of implementing preventive maintenance on method factors and environmental factors get significant results in the flange area where initially the flange area experienced wet and dirty after the implementation of preventive maintenance the flange area is clean and dry so that early problems are addressed before they become more serious
