PERANCANGAN PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT BERBASIS WEBSITE MENGGUNAKAN MODEL ZACHMAN PADA TOKO XYZ

Performance management is a key aspect in enhancing productivity and effectiveness of an organization, including in retail business environments like XYZ store. In order to improve performance management efficiency, this research proposes a web-based performance management system adopting the Zachman Framework as the design framework. The issue addressed in this research is the loss of various data such as inventory, sales reports, and customer data. The cause of data loss is the absence of a computerized system; the data is still stored in piles of paper without any backup files in the system, leading to time-consuming data retrieval for employees. The objective of this research is to develop a Performance Management System and provide recommendations for managing inventory and sales transaction reporting systems. The design methodology employed is a system- oriented approach utilizing the Zachman Framework as a guide. The analysis phase involves a deep understanding of performance management needs at Xyz Store, while system design includes identifying perspectives, descriptions, and employing the Zachman Framework to comprehensively depict system structure. The resulting website enables Xyz Store management to handle employee performance, conduct performance evaluations, and set and measure performance targets centrally and efficiently. Users have structured access according to their roles and responsibilities within the organization. It is anticipated that the implementation of this web-based performance management system will assist Xyz Store in enhancing transparency, accountability, and quality of performance management decision-making. Moreover, the utilization of the Zachman Framework in system design can provide a holistic and structured view, facilitating better understanding of organizational complexity and its business environment.
