IMPLEMENTASI SINGLE EXPONENTIAL SMOOTHING DALAM SALES FORECAST TREN RAMADHAN PADA PT. CHICAGO STAR CORP

PT. Chicago Star Corp is a retail company that operates Chicago Fried Chicken franchises. There are huge fluctuations in product demand in this industry, especially during the month of Ramadan. The aim of this research is to analyze sales trends during the month of Ramadan and to forecast sales of PT products. Chicago Star Corp. The Single Exponential Smoothing method was chosen because of its simplicity and effectiveness in handling data with seasonal patterns. The research results show that the Single Exponential Smoothing method can be used to forecast sales with a high level of accuracy with a MAPE value of 11.53% and a MAPE value in the Ramadan sales trend forecast of 33.42%. PT. Chicago Star Corp. utilize the results of this forecast to manage stock and increase production efficiency during the month of Ramadan.
