Abstract

Effective and responsive Wi-Fi network monitoring is the key to ensuring the availability and quality of optimal service for users. Administrators often face challenges in monitoring networks, especially on Wi-Fi networks. This study considers the integration between Uptime Kuma, an open-source platform for network monitoring, and telegram bot for real-time notifications. The Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) approach is used to redesign the network monitoring process, with a focus on reducing manual workloads and increasing operational efficiency. The implementation process begins with the initial configuration of Uptime Kuma to monitor the proxy devices, followed by the Telegram BOT setting to receive notifications from Uptime Kuma. The results showed that this integration not only reduced network downtime time, but also improved the quality of service by allowing early detection and rapid action to the problems that arise. In addition, a deeper network performance analysis can be done based on data collected by Uptime Kuma, which helps in further improvement and strategic decision making. This study concluded that the integration of Uptime Kuma and the Telegram Bot with the BPR approach can provide significant benefits in increasing operational efficiency and responsiveness in monitoring Wi-Fi networks, thus providing better user experience and increasing confidence in the services provided.
