ANALISIS SENTIMEN PADA X TERHADAP PERAN DAN FUNGSI PBB MENGENAI KONFLIK ISRAEL-PALESTINA DAN RUSIA-UKRAINA MENGGUNAKAN METODE NAÏVE BAYES CLASSIFIER

The prolonged conflicts between Israel-Palestine and Russia-Ukraine have sparked numerous opinions from the global community, with the UN playing a crucial role in efforts to resolve them. The effectiveness of the UN is often debated, and with the increasing use of social media, particularly the X platform, there is an opportunity to analyze public sentiment regarding these global issues. This study aims to analyze public sentiment on the X platform towards the role and function of the UN in resolving the Israel-Palestine and Russia-Ukraine conflicts using the Naïve Bayes Classifier method. The data analyzed were obtained from comments posted on the X social media platform and processed through several preprocessing stages. The analysis results of 757 data points show that 398 data points have positive sentiment and 359 data points have negative sentiment, with the model's accuracy reaching 78%, precision for positive predictions at 74% and negative predictions at 84%, and recall for true positives at 89% and true negatives at 67%. These findings indicate that public sentiment towards the UN's role is polarized. In conclusion, this analysis provides valuable insights for policymakers to improve diplomatic strategies and conflict management by the UN.
