Abstract

This thesis is entitled "The Influence of Reading Guide Learning Methods in Improving the Literacy Ability of Grade 3 Students of SDN Cisaat" Based on the background, the researcher formulated the following research problems: How is the application, the ability to use reading guide learning in improving the literacy ability of grade 3 students of SDN Cisaat, this study aims to describe the application and influence, reading guide learning method and literacy ability of grade students 3 SDN Cisaat. The research used in this study is a quantitative approach using an experimental research design The form of research design used is True Experimental Design with a type of Posttest-Only Control Design. True Experimental Design Based on the results of the T-Test test using an independent sample t test with the help of SPSS version 21 above, it is known that the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average score between the learning outcomes of class A which is given reading guide treatment and class B which is not given reading guide treatment because it can be seen that the significance value is less than 0.05 carried out by the researcher shows that there is a difference that significantly between the experimental class and the control class. Based on the results of the postes in the experimental class, it showed that the students understood more about the activities they had done, compared to the students in the control class who seemed to lack mastery of the material, from the results of the research and discussion in the study entitled "The influence of the reading guide learning method in improving the literacy ability of 3rd grade students of SDN Cisaat" that there was an increase in shiva literacy after using the reading guide learning method at SDN Cisaat Grade 3.
