Abstract

Differences in levels of parental attention and learning motivation also influence variations in student learning outcomes. Apart from parental attention, learning motivation plays an important role in supporting students' learning process and their ability to achieve academic success. However, the level of student learning motivation is not yet fully optimal to ensure optimal learning achievement. The aim of this research is to determine the extent of the influence of parental attention and learning motivation on elementary school students' learning achievement. The research methodology includes quantitative data analysis using the Ex Post Facto method which aims to provide an overview of the underlying factors. Based on the results of this research, there is a significant positive influence between parental attention and learning motivation on elementary school students' learning achievement, because the results of the multiple linear correlation analysis show an F value of 17,978 > 3,060 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Judging from the R Square, it is known The R square value is 0.197, which means that there is a significant effective relationship of 19.7% between the variables of parental attention (X1) and learning motivation (X2) on the learning achievement variable (Y). Meanwhile, 80.3% were influenced by factors other than parental attention and motivation to learn.
