PENGARUH MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PAPAN TEMPEL DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR IPA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR KELAS IV GUGUS GADIS KECAMATAN CISAAT KABUPATEN SUKABUMI

This study aims to determine the influence of Patch Board learning media on the interest in learning science of grade IV students of Elementary School in the Girl Cluster of Cisaat District. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, the study was conducted in two groups: experimental (38 students) and control (33 students). The experimental class was given learning using the Sticky Board media, while the control class did not have the media. Data was collected through pre-test and post-test. The results showed a more significant increase in learning interest in the experimental class (51.3%) compared to the control class (39.8%). Interviews with students revealed that the Sticky Board makes learning more interesting and facilitates the understanding of the material. This study concludes that the Sticky Board media has a positive effect on the increase in interest in learning science among grade IV students, in line with the theory of constructivism which emphasizes the active role of students in building their own knowledge.
