Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of teachers' teaching styles and experiences on student discipline. The formulation of the problem in this research is (1) how the teacher's teaching style influences student discipline, (2) how the teacher's teaching experience influences student discipline, (3) how the teacher's style and experience influence student discipline simultaneously. This research uses a quantitative approach with the ex post facto type. The analytical method in this research is a needs analysis test which consists of a homogeneity test, normality test, linearity test and hypothesis test using multiple regression analysis.
The results of the research show that there is an influence of the teacher's teaching style and experience on student discipline. Things that influence student discipline are: 1) The emergence of student awareness to familiarize themselves with discipline 2) The attitudes and ways of educating parents in developing discipline 3) The role of teachers in shaping students' disciplinary character 4) A comfortable and supportive learning environment allows students to practice discipline . The solution that can be implemented is for teachers to be role models by providing examples of how to teach discipline to students effectively, making clear rules and the teacher's teaching style and experience will influence student discipline.
