Abstract

This research was conducted at companies operating in the service sector. The aim of this research is to find out how work discipline and work motivation influence employee work productivity. This research uses a descriptive design with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used was by distributing questionnaires. The population in this study was 126 people, and the sample used in this research was 56 people. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with a simple random sampling approach. The results of this research show that partially work discipline has a significant effect on work productivity, this was obtained from the t test which showed that the sig. equal to 0.001 < 0.05 and tcount value 3,409 > ttable 1.674. Work motivation partially has a significant effect on work productivity, this is obtained from the t test which shows that the sig. equal to
0.000 < 0.05 and tcount value 12,661 > ttable 1.674. Meanwhile, the results of the f test show that simultaneously work discipline and work motivation together have a significant effect on work productivity, this is obtained from the results of the f test with a sig value. of 0.000 < 0.05 and the fcount value is 80,153 > ftable 3.17.
