Abstract

In the era of modernisation, qualified and professional human resources are key to the growth and development of an organisation. Wages and promotion of job status are often very crucial issues, especially for casual daily workers (PHL). This study aims to determine the effect of the reward system and career development partially and simultaneously on job satisfaction of PHL PT Buana Tirta Abadi. The research method used is Quantitative method, the research population is 75 casual daily workers and the sampling method is saturated sample. Primary data using questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that partially the Reward System and Career Development had a significant effect on PHL Job Satisfaction at PT Buana Tirta Abadi. Simultaneously, the Reward System and Career Development have a significant effect on PHL Job Satisfaction at PT Buana Tirta Abadi. The magnitude of the influence of the Reward System and Career Development on job satisfaction seen in the Coefficient of Determination is 49,5 and the remaining 50,5% is explained by other variables not examined in this study.
