ANALISIS ILUSTRASI PADA DESAIN KEMASAN PRODUCT LIQUID JVS LABZ

At this times, our lives cannot be separated from the packaging aspect. Packaging does not only function to protect the product itself, but also as a promotional and communication medium. In addition, packaging is also useful for providing information about the product and attracting consumers in choosing a product. This research focuses on problems related to the background of the idea of creating a complete illustration of JVS Labz liquid product packaging in terms of the illustration style, visual elements, perceptual elements, and typography. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research.
The subjects of this research are 3 samples of illustration designs that exist in JVS Labz liquid products, namely the MUNCHIES, LIQUID OAT DRIPS V1 FREEBASE, and WHALEDREAM variants. Data obtained by structured interviews, observation, literature study and documentation. The data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The validity of the data was obtained through triangulation test. The results of this study indicate that: The illustration applied to the illustration design in JVS Labz liquid products is a Line Art vector illustration type.
The uniqueness of the packaging illustration design is the selection of Line Art vector-style illustrations. Illustrations in the form of fruits that reflect the taste, and illustrations of animals that reflect the character of the strength of taste. With illustrations that provide clear information about the character of the taste of the liquid so that it can influence the interest of potential buyers.
