Abstract

Road damage often occurs on the Cibutun-Balewer Provincial roads which is the route to the southern part of Sukabumi. Obstacles to the damage that occurs to the road on this section will certainly affect the safety, comfort and safety of road users. Various factors affect different types of damage. Namely traffic loads, water, subgrade construction materials, climate, unstable subgrade conditions, and poor soil compaction processes or improper road structural handling. In subgrade conditions in road construction construction is a problem that often occurs, especially on the ground surface. Especially at the time of road construction, the filling process must be carried out to reach the planned road height level. If the stockpiling process is not carried out in accordance with good procedures, the road being built will experience an avalanche.
In handling landslides on road bodies that form slopes with a fairly steep slope, for this reason structural handling must be carried out, so that landslides do not occur on the road body. One of the solutions is the retaining wall structure. Of the 3 dimensions models that the author did, the dimensions in model 3 were selected. The safety factor of the three models made that meets the requirements for overturning and shear stability is only in model 3, while the stability of the carrying capacity of all models does not meet the requirements. In the selected model, namely model 3, after checking stability with the GravWallESRC application. overturning and sliding stability is sufficient, while the stability of the carrying capacity in this application is not available.
