IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM INFORMASI AKADEMIK MENERAPKAN METODE RAPID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

The Academic Information System (SISFO) is an important component in education management at SMA Negeri 1 Jampang Kulon. To improve efficiency in presenting and processing academic data, this study aims to develop a web-based SISFO implementing RAD (Rapid Application Development) development. The RAD method delays fast and iterative build cycles. The development process includes needs analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation which is carried out repeatedly to ensure the system develops quickly according to user needs. The Academic Information System developed includes important features such as student data management, class schedules, student attendance, grade management. This system provides access to administrators, teachers, students to obtain academic information quickly and easily. In developing the user programming language system PHP is used to connect interfaces with databases, facilitating storage and retrieval of information related to academic data. The focus of this research is to develop an Academic Information System using web technology that can be utilized by SMA Negeri 1 Jampang Kulon. This system helps in presenting academic information, managing student data. Implementation of this system is expected to increase efficiency in education management at SMA Negeri 1 Jampang Kulon and provide significant benefits for all parties involved.
