Abstract
The utilization of solar energy as Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) is continuously growing and gaining attention in recent decades. The BLK in Sukabumi Regency has a promising rooftop that can be utilized as a rooftop PLTS, which can reduce electricity bills. This research aims to analyze the optimum capacity and technical aspects of the rooftop PLTS at the BLK workshop in Sukabumi Regency. Additionally, this study also analyzes the impact of rooftop PLTS integration on the network voltage profile. The methods used include measuring the rooftop area in relation to solar panel dimensions, analyzing the technical aspects of rooftop PLTS integration, and conducting Quasi Dynamic analysis to evaluate the impact of rooftop PLTS integration on the network voltage profile. The research findings show that the optimum capacity of the rooftop PLTS, designed using Helioscope, is 30.7 kW with 96 Canadian Solar 320 Wp solar panels and an ICA Solar 30 kW inverter. Based on the technical analysis using HOMER, the rooftop PLTS can achieve a 61% penetration rate with a total production of 42,920 kWh per year, thereby fulfilling energy needs and reducing dependence on fossil energy sources. The Quasi Dynamic analysis using Digsilent PowerFactory indicates that rooftop PLTS integration can reduce voltage drops with an average voltage increase of 0.0048%. The integration of rooftop PLTS in Sukabumi Regency's BLK is worth implementing.
Keywords: integration of rooftop PLTS, rooftop PLTS, quasi-dynamic, renewable energy, voltage profile.
