Abstract

The use of solar energy as a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) is growing and getting attention in the last few decades. BLK Sukabumi Regency has a building roof that has the potential to be used as a rooftop PLTS, so it can reduce electricity bills. This study aims to analyze the finances of installing a rooftop PLTS at BLK Sukabumi Regency using forecasting using the Simple Moving Average (SMA) method with a time series forecasting model for the forecasting period from 2023-2033, so that it can predict the exact year of installing the rooftop PLTS based on the results from forecasting, so that the installation of this rooftop PLTS can be well planned, effective, and efficient in a technical and economic context. Construction forecasting is a comparison with the amount of observation data or scenarios 3 to scenario 7. The results of the evaluation of forecasting in each scenario with the best accuracy results on solar panels, namely in scenario 4 with an accuracy of 96.88%, on the inverter the best accuracy is in scenario 7 with an accuracy value of 95 .81%, and for the PLTS installation components the best accuracy is in scenario 7 with an accuracy value of 97.42%. From a techno-economic standpoint, the system configuration can meet the electricity load requirements of 26,604 kWh/year with a total NPC cost of Rp. 1,524,018,000.00. The PLTS system will gain an annual profit of Rp. 6,385,400.00 with a return on investment cost of 3.0% ROI and an IRR of 4.7% or takes 14 years to recover investment costs.
