Abstract
In this modern era, appearance is not only a measure of one's judgment of others or to show one's personality, but appearance is also an important point in achieving success. At present in every job acceptance looking attractive is one of the requirements that must be met by applicants, of course this makes people compete to look attractive. Looking attractive here means a neat appearance from head to toe. In this case, hair is the main point, especially for men, so that various brands of hair oil have appeared. This makes men confused in choosing which hair oil is the best, for that we conducted research on selecting hair oil brands using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method with the aim of finding out which hair oil brand is the best. The SAW method is one of the methods used in the decision-making process. The basic concept of the SAW method is to find a weighted sum of performance ratings for each alternative on all attributes. The SAW method has been widely used in previous studies because of its ability to make more precise assessments because it is based on predetermined value criteria and preference weights. The results of the study using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in testing using Microsoft Excel and testing using Python obtained the same results. The top rating with a value of (0.86) is obtained by the hair oil product brand Gatsby. While the lowest value (0.76) was obtained by hair oil brand Oh Man! Nutri Blue Water Based Pomade, so from this research the Gatsby hair oil product brand is the best alternative in choosing hair oil specifically for men.
