Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the type of cooperative learning model Make A Match on the science learning outcomes of SDN Gunungjaya students. This study uses a quantitative approach using typeslike an experiment conducted in the control class and experimental class. The population of this research was Gunungjaya Elementary School students. The sample used was class IV A with 29 students as the experimental class and class IV B with 27 students as the control class. Data collection techniques carried out are observation, tests, and documentation. The instruments used were observation sheets and test sheets of 20 questions. Data analysis techniques performed were validity test, reliability test, descriptive statistical analysis, homogeneity test, normality test, and T-Test assisted by SPSS version 26. Based on output test Independent Sample T-Test sig value is known. (2-tailed) is 0.039 <0.05, which means that there is a difference in the average student science learning outcomes between the control class using conventional learning and the experimental class using the cooperative learning model.Make A Match. So it can be concluded the use of cooperative learning model typeMake A Match has a significant effect on students' science learning outcomes. The average value of the experimental class was 65.80, which was greater than that of the control class with an average value of 57.08.
