Abstract
This research is motivated by the misuse of internet access in the workplace which can lead to reduced employee productivity. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of workload and cyberloafing on productivity. This research uses quantitative approach and data analysis using Smartpls version 3. Data was collected using questionnaires and respondents in this study as many as 309 respondents. The criteria for respondents in this study are employees who work in institutions, organizations and companies that use internet access and computer devices in their work operations. There are four hypotheses tested in this study, which show workload has no effect on cyberloafing with a value of β -0.014, P- Value 0.876. Workload positively affects productivity with a value of β 0.473, P- Value 0.000. Cyberloafing negatively affects productivity with a value of β -0.134, P- Value 0.016. Cyberloafing does not mediate the effect between workload and productivity with a value of β 0.002, P- Value 0.871.
