STRATEGI PENERAPAN PELATIHAN GENERAL SAFETY INDUCTION DALAM RANGKA MENGURANGI KECELAKAAN KERJA (STUDI KASUS : PT. SANDVIK SMC, TIMIKA PAPUA)

One of the main issues in the success of a company in achieving its vision and mission is the quality of human resources (HR). The purpose of this study was to determine employee understanding of General Safety Induction Training, to determine the Effectiveness of General Safety Induction Training in reducing work accidents and to determine the strategy for implementing General Safety Induction Training which has an impact on work accidents. This study used a qualitative approach by means of field observations and interviews, the results of which were used to analyze employees' understanding of the training provided. The results of this study indicate that employees' understanding of the General Safety Induction Training is good, with the results of field testing. In addition, the Effectiveness of the General Safety Inducton Training in reducing Work Accidents is very effective with very good results given by the examiners, and in the strategy for implementing the General Safety Induction Training will be given to employees who have met the following criteria: 1. Employees who have worked under 5 years (with different educational backgrounds and starting work after 2020) 2. Special employees with certain criteria. 3. New employees with different educational backgrounds.
