Abstract

This research is motivated by the low scores of students in learning mathematics in
class III. One of the causes of the lack of student learning outcomes is due to the
use of less effective learning methods. One way that can be used is to use the
Quantum Teaching learning model. The approach to this research method is
quantitative by using a quasi-experimental type that is carried out on 2 classes,
namely the experimental class and the control class. The population of this study
were students of SDN Leuwiorok. The sample used was students in class III A,
totaling 22 students as the experimental class and class III B, totaling 29 students
as the control class using random sampling technique. This study aims to determine
the effect of applying the Quantum Teaching model to student learning outcomes in
Mathematics Learning in class III. The research instrument used was
a test (Pre-Test and Post-Test) of 10 Pre-Test questions and 10 Post-Test
questions. Data analysis techniques in this study used validity tests, reliability tests,
descriptive analysis, normality tests, paired Sample t tests, homogeneity tests, and
independent Sample t tests. The results of the independent Sample t test data
analysis using SPSS 25 produce output with a sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05
then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so the data can be declared significant. The
average value obtained by the experimental class was 69.09, which was greater
than the average value obtained by the control class, which was 47.41. Through the
results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is an effect of applying
the Quantum Teaching model to student learning outcomes in learning
mathematics.
