PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENGEMBANGAN PENGGAJIAN KARYAWAN DI PT. DASAN PAN PACIFIC BERBASIS WEB MENGGUNAKAN METODE WATERFALL

PT. Dasan Pan Pacific is a company engaged in the garment sector. Employees at PT.
Dasan Pan Pacific will be given a salary for their work at the end of each month, to
determine how much salary employees should receive, there are several components that
must be considered, namely absenteeism, basic salary, allowances, incentives and overtime.
The payroll system in this company still uses a manual system where the manual system has
limitations such as the length of salary calculation and can result in salary calculation errors
that are beneficial and detrimental to one party, so a web-based payroll system is made in
order to correct mistakes that have been happening and can help make it easier for the
accounting department to make financial reports. The research methodology used in this
study is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall method, for data collection
using interview and observer methods, PHP programming language, Sublime text editor and
MYSQL database. The test results using black box settings show that the application has
worked as expected.
