Abstract

Technology in the industrial world is something that cannot be separated.
Technology can help make a job easier and more efficient and minimize the
occurrence of errors. Currently, home industries, especially those that produce
liquid products such as milk, syrup, fruit juice, etc., usually use manual filling
which requires a relatively long filling time. Automatic mechanical system in
filling liquid into bottles (Liquid filling) is one of the products of technological
advances in the world of large-scale industry. The system helps the work of filling
liquid into the bottle accurately and quickly so that the work is efficient. Based on
this, a small-scale Internet of Things-based tool design for home industry will be
made by utilizing Nodemcu as a control system, InfraRed and Ultrasonic as
sensors, Arduino IDE as programming sketch Software and Telegram as data
monitoring Software. . Based on this background, this study aims to create an
automatic system for filling liquids into bottles based on the Internet of Things
with monitoring data by telegram. This research is expected to be a solution to the
problem of time efficiency and errors in filling liquids into packaged bottles as
well as monitoring data security in the home industry. The result of testing the
design of this tool is that the installed InfraRed sensor can perform censorship to
fill the liquid in the container consistently with the time span of each bottle is 5
seconds. The Telegram application that is integrated with the tool can provide
notifications or notifications of the amount of liquid in the main container
automatically at the end of the filling process, including if the amount of liquid is
in a critical condition. Overall, each component of this tool works and responds
well so that the tool can work as expected to answer the background of the
existing problems.
