Abstract

Educators are a crucial part of the school system. They can be considered the primary drivers of developmental experiences, particularly those occurring within the school environment . Schools are the core of teaching and learning experiences. Therefore, educators are expected to be professional and responsible, developing individual, social, and professional skills. However, the reality on the ground, especially in one of the State Elementary Schools in Cisolok District , Sukabumi Regency This study found different conditions, that the problems that arise in the class are still some educators are not capable in class management, implementing learning that is not good and need to be improved educator performance in developing learning with students . This research is very important because it is to improve the quality of educators as a whole. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the professionalism of an elementary school teacher in implementing learning on student learning motivation and to find out how important a professional teacher in elementary schools is in implementing learning on student learning motivation. In this study using a qualitative approach method and this research design is a case study. After conducting research at the school there were several findings of the impact of a lack of professionalism of an educator including students feeling bored, lack of student interest in learning, lack of enthusiasm for learning, lack of student character formation, and no motivation. Teacher professionalism greatly influences student motivation in learning activities, with the existence of obstacles that impact students such as feeling bored, lack of student interest in learning, no enthusiasm for learning, lack of student character formation and no motivation.
