Abstract

The growth of digital banking services has led to increased usage of mobile banking applications among Generation Z, a demographic with high expectations for user experience. This study aims to analyze and compare the user experience of the Seabank and Bank Jago applications using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method, as well as to identify the factors influencing user satisfaction. Using a quantitative research method, data were collected through literature review and an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. Primary data were obtained directly from 150 respondents, while secondary data were sourced from previous studies. The research instrument consisted of 26 statements rated on a 1–7 scale and was analyzed based on six UEQ dimensions: Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. The results show that both applications received generally positive evaluations from Generation Z respondents. Bank Jago excelled in the Attractiveness aspect, scoring in the “Good” category (mean 1.65), indicating strong visual and emotional appeal. Meanwhile, Seabank outperformed Bank Jago in the remaining five dimensions: Perspicuity (1.98), Efficiency (1.91), Dependability (1.54), Stimulation (1.66), and Novelty (1.34), with higher average scores. These findings suggest that Seabank offers a more efficient, clear, engaging, and innovative user experience.
