ANALISA DAN PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI TINGKAT PENGUNJUNG CAGAR BUDAYA NYI RORO KIDUL DENGAN METODE K-MEANS CLUSTERING

Intangible cultural heritage such as the legend of Nyi Roro Kidul plays a strategic role in the development of sustainable tourism, particularly in the Pelabuhanratu region of Sukabumi, West Java. Local traditions of pilgrimage, shrine visits, and spiritual rituals have generated a significant cultural attraction for tourists. This study aims to analyze and design an optimized information system to increase visitor levels at the Nyi Roro Kidul heritage site, utilizing the K-means clustering method. Primary data were collected via questionnaires from 150 respondents, comprising tourists, business actors, and local residents. The variables measured include visit frequency, cultural knowledge, involvement in cultural tourism activities, and perceived economic impact. The Clustering analysis identified five main clusters spiritual seekers, general tourists, active entrepreneurs, passive community members, and culture advocates. The spiritual seekers cluster is characterized by ritual motivations, while general tourists visit purely for recreation. Active entrepreneurs experience significant economic impact, passive community members show low involvement in cultural activities, and culture advocates support preservation without economic orientation. These findings reveal that the legend of Nyi Roro Kidul not only strengthens local cultural identity but also provides a market segmentation foundation for designing a cultural tourism information system. Based on each cluster’s characteristics, the proposed information system includes tailored features such as personalized promotions, ritual and cultural information, and economic participation monitoring. It is expected that this system can enhance visitor engagement, improve promotional efficiency, boost economic contributions, and simultaneously preserve the cultural heritage of Nyi Roro Kidul.
