Abstract
This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the work readiness of Nusa Putra University students in facing the transformation towards the Society 5.0 era. The main approach used is Soft Systems Methodology (SSM), which allows the identification of problems holistically from the perspective of various stakeholders, including students, lecturers, and student organizations. As a complement, a questionnaire survey was conducted to strengthen the results of the qualitative analysis. The questionnaire was distributed to 355 active students from five study programs, selected based on the Slovin formula from a population of 2,300 students. Quantitative data were analyzed using IBM SPSS 2.5 to measure data consistency and support key findings. The results show that understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), psychological readiness, and the intensity of digital technology use, contribute significantly to job readiness. In addition, human skills such as communication and empathy are proven to be crucial elements that strengthen students' readiness in the ever-evolving world of work. This study confirms the importance of integration between technical skills and soft skills through a systemic approach. It is suggested that there be collaboration between the campus and industry in building a career development ecosystem that is responsive to the challenges of Society 5.0.
