Abstract
This study aims to analyze the recruitment pattern of KPU Adhoc Bodies in the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections, with a focus on the recruitment process of the District Election Committee (PPK) and Voting Committee (PPS) at the Sukabumi Regency KPU. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection through in-depth interviews and documentation. The results showed that the recruitment process had undergone a transformation towards a more transparent, accountable and objective system, thanks to the application of digital technology such as the SIAKBA application and the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) system.
The recruitment pattern applied is open, providing equal opportunities for the entire community without discrimination based on background, education, or gender. In addition, this study also identified challenges faced, such as limited digital literacy in remote areas and technical problems with the application. Nevertheless, KPU's efforts to improve the quality of election organizers through massive training and socialization show a commitment to integrity and professionalism. This research is expected to provide recommendations for improving the recruitment process in the future, as well as increasing public participation in organizing democratic and quality elections.
