Abstract
This study aims to analyze the impact of Bank Emok credit on women's roles in family management in Caringin Pojok Village, Sukabumi. The approach used is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to understand the experiences and perceptions of women credit recipients. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with a number of respondents who were housewives who received Bank Emok credit. Analysis was conducted using behavioral theory to look at changes in the management of economic decisions and the division of roles in the family. The results show that Bank Emok credit has the effect of increasing women's economic capacity but also creates new challenges related to the division of time between domestic and economic roles. In conclusion, Bank Emok credit has the potential to strengthen women's economic position in the family, but there is a need for strategies to reduce the double burden experienced by credit recipients.
