PERANCANGAN BUKU DO’A HARIAN ANAK DENGAN ILUSTRASI DAN AUDIO BERBASIS BARCODE SEBAGAI MEDIA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOGNITIF ANAK DI TKS ISLAM CITRA INSANI

This research is motivated by the low interest of kindergarten children in memorizing and reciting daily prayers consistently, indicating an urgent need for more interactive and engaging learning media. Therefore, the main objective of this thesis is to design an innovative daily prayer book for children, featuring illustrations and barcode-based audio, to enhance cognitive abilities and prayer recitation among children at TKS Islam Citra Insani. The research methodology employed a Design Thinking approach, encompassing field research, in-depth interviews with teachers, direct observation of students, comprehensive literature review, and the media production process. This production process included developing child-friendly illustrations, intuitive layout design, recording and integrating barcode audio, compiling a Graphic Standard Manual (GSM), and creating other supporting media. The result of this design is a 21 x 21 cm hardcover prayer book, containing 40 pages with 17 daily prayers, complemented by engaging visual illustrations and interactive barcode audio. Additionally, supporting media such as posters, catalogs, packaging, and a GSM were produced to strengthen the product's identity. Based on trials and evaluations, it is concluded that the designed prayer book effectively assists children in correctly reciting prayers, supports spiritual habits in the school environment, and is highly suitable for the cognitive development stage of early childhood.
